The pool facilities were a total hit with my kids! 💦 They loved it! But the room had a lingering smoke smell, which was a huge letdown.

Enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was airy and neat where the shower was n't working properly, we stayed here for 2 nights. The venue was in a remote location next to restaurant/bar, and public transport. It also was on the grass area.

Excellant! We read the reviews on the internet and we were dubious, but turned out to be an excellent experience. We chose for the price of room with breakfast and the facility of the pool. (have daughter of 11) Pool was wonderful, with towels. Staff very helpfull. Overall cleanliness was above average, some picky bits, but there always is. Evening meal to pay for, but very good value and quality. Room was everything you need and constant hot water!. Breakfast was very good, Choice, fresh, hot! Tasty, I struggle to fault the stay we had, and normally I am difficult to please! I am pleased to give this feed back, as normally I would not bother. a big thank you. and most enjoyable.
Limited choice for room service, and wine expensive. Choice of food limited, and expensive. and early finishing. Not a major complaint, but if better value, like the restaurant, would do better business.

Great location and friendly staff
We enjoyed a lovely stay, with an ideal location close to local attractions and friendly staff ready to assist. The breakfast was well-prepared with a variety of choices, and the leisure facilities like the pool and sauna provided a nice way to relax. The room felt a bit dated and could use some updates for a better overall experience.

The Sporting Lodge in Middlesbrough had a fantastic location for my needs. I enjoyed the leisure club facilities, including the pool and sauna. My twin room feltnice and neat, perfect for relaxation after a long day. Breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. I noticed the room had some maintenance issues. The toilet didn't flush properly and the shower felt outdated. I also struggled with the Wi-Fi connectivity, nonexistent . It felt frustrating, especially when I needed to stay connected. Despite these issues, the helpful staff was great. I appreciated their friendly demeanor, but I hope they improve the facilities to match their service.

Clean, quiet, reasonable price, good breakfast, large pool and gym
1. they dont do dinner bed and breakfast deals 2. the clock in the gym is set 10 minutes fast so that the staff can get away early. this is highly annoying if you are busy and only have an hour at the end of the day to exercise, especially on Sat and Sun when they close at 9pm anyway.
